Hurricane Relief

In response to the devastation in Southwest Louisiana caused by Hurricane Laura on August 27, 2020, and Hurricane Delta on October 9, 2020, Second Mountain reached out to our neighbors in Southwest Louisiana. Shortly after the storms, Second Mountain delivered generators to Lake Charles and Creole. Additionally, we connected with Cajun Navy Relief and were able to acquire and deliver specific relief supplies needed in Creole, Dequincy, and Sugartown. Hope 4 Honduras

Serving on mission trips alongside Hope 4 Honduras is an incredible honor. The mission statement of this organization is “To Develop Fully Devoted Followers of Jesus Christ.” When on mission with Hope 4 Honduras, we build houses for families in need, feed hundreds of kids and elderly, bring food packs to neighboring communities, aid and give resources to their bilingual school, and so much more. Central America

We are proud to be serving in these capacities in various areas in Central America: Meeting food needs in response to hurricane devastation, aiding the start of an Infant Feeding Program, repairing water wells to give fresh water, and supporting education assistance to kids in impoverished communities.

Supported Ministries

As a great deal of time and effort in our first year has involved administrative and startup activities, we have taken the opportunity to support established ministries whose missions are consistent with Second Mountain’s. See below some of those ministries we have had the privilege of supporting:
